VCU Men's to participate in 2024 Shriners Children’s Hospital Charleston Classic

On Tuesday, VCU Men's Basketball announced that the Rams will participate in the 2024 Shriners Children's Hospital Charleston Classic.

The Classic will be held at the TD Arena in Charleston, S.C., on November 21, 22 & 24th, 2024. The field will include 2024 NIT Champions Seton Hall and 2023 NCAA Final Four Participants Miami and Florida Atlantic. Drake, Nevada, Oklahoma State, and Vanderbilt round out the 8-team field. Details, including bracket and game times, will be announced later.

The Rams will make their 2nd appearance at the Charleston Classic as they played in the classic in 2012, where they went on to win a school-record 29 wins and an appearance in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament.

VCU Women's Basketball Atlantic 10 Conference Parings announced

Richmond, VA On Thursday, The Atlantic 10 conference revealed the league scheduling pairings for the 2024-25 Women's Basketball season.

VCU Women's, who went 26-6 (15-3 A-10) last season, will have a home-and-home series with

Richmond, Saint Joseph's, Duquesne and Loyola-Chicago

VCU's home A-10 opponents are Davidson, Dayton, UMass, Rhode Island, and Saint Louis. The Rams will face Fordham, George Mason, George Washington, La Salle, and St. Bonaventure on the road.

VCU will host Fordham, La Salle, George Mason, Umass, and Davidson. The Rams will face Duquesne, Rhode Island, George Washington, Loyola Chicago, and Saint Joseph's on the road.
