Game Summary

VCU women's suffered their 1st loss of the season to their former CAA rival Willam & Mary 66-61 in overtime. The half of this game can be defined as a see-saw where VCU led William & Mary 14-12 at the end of the first quarter. Willam & Mary roared back to tie the game at 23-23 with 3:41 left in the 2nd quarter. The Rams countered the run and led 30-26 at halftime. William & Mary outscored the Rams in the 3rd quarter (18-8) to take a 6-point lead heading to the 4th quarter.. William & Mary extended their lead to 8 points (48-40) with 7:23 remaining, The Rams staged a huge comeback as Grace Hutson sank a 3-pointer to give the Rams a 52-50 lead with 1:11 left in the game, but William & Mary Guard Riley Casey(Scored 25 Points for the game) hit a buzzer beater shot to take the game to Overtime. William & Mary outscored the Rams 14-9 in overtime to win. Lady Rams were led by Sara Te-Biasu (19pts, 5 Assists, 2 Rebounds), Chole Bloom also scored in Double figures ( 10pts, 7 Rebs, 2 Assists).
